Obama buys 30 minutes of primetime on big 3 networks

| I guess the media perception that Barack has the election in the bag isn’t the same impression held by the Obama campaign. If it were, why would he need to buy 30 minutes for a prime time speech on the big three networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) and be in negotiations to run the infomercial on FOX as well. That’s an awful large chunk of money to spend on a nationwide ad instead of targeting battleground states for someone who has pretty much been guaranteed the presidency by the media. If it were’nt obscene enough, the speech is scheduled for October 29th, for those of you who need to brush up on your early 20th century history, that’s Black Tuesday the day of the market collapse that triggered the great depression. Obama is going to try to draw the corelation between the current mortgage crisis and the great depression. It’s my guess that many will know this by the time the ad airs, fox won’t carry it, and Obama and the media will be stuck trying to explain how he’s winning in the polls but he got lower ratings than Deal or No Deal. This is going to be his Dukakis on the tank moment and not even the liberal media will be able to stop the free fall of his campaign. |

Barkley estimated he’d registered to vote “10 to 15″ times after canvassers for ACORN, whose political wing has endorsed Barack Obama, relentlessly pursued him and others.
Claims such as his have sparked election officials to probe ACORN.
“I kept getting approached by folks who asked me to register,” Barkley said. “They’d ask me if I was registered. I’d say yes, and they’d ask me to do it [register] again.
“Some of them were getting paid to collect names. That was their sob story, and I bought it,” he said.
Joe Biden introduced as John McCain

Jim Pacillo, the man who introduced Joe Biden yesterday morning slipped up saying “Let me introduced the next Vice President of the United States, John McCain”. The crowd seemed too dumb to notice the slip but crazy Joe came out looking more confused than a deer infront of headlights. Don’t worry Joe, there will be plenty more people who won’t remember your name come November 5th.

Dean Reynolds of CBS news opens up about what life is like for a reporter covering the campaign trail for the last year.
“The McCain folks are more helpful and generally friendly. The schedules are printed on actual books you can hold in your hand, read, and then plan accordingly. The press aides are more knowledgeable and useful to us in the news media. The events are designed with a better eye, and for the simple needs of the press corps. When he is available, John McCain is friendly and loquacious. Obama holds news conferences, but seldom banters with the reporters who’ve been following him for thousands of miles around the country. Go figure.
The McCain campaign plane is better than Obama’s, which is cramped, uncomfortable and smells terrible most of the time. Somehow the McCain folks manage to keep their charter clean, even where the press is seated.”

Harry Reid calls radio host racist for questioning about Obama’s advisor Franklin Raines

In an attempt to end questioning that is obviously harmful to the Obama campaign. Harry Reid replied by saying “[Franklin] Raines, who you’re talking about, worked for Fannie Mae, was there for a while. The only connection that people could bring up about Raines and Barack Obama is that they both are African-American, other than that there is nothing.” An obvious attempt to paint the radio host as a racist and prevent himself from having to admit the truth that Franklin Raines is an advisor to the Obama campaign as well as Jim Johnson. Both of these men were chief executives of Fannie Mae and made millions in the sub prime loan and mortgage backed securities scandal before jumping ship and joining Obama’s campaign.
