			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><br /><p>Tom Blumer with NewsBusters.com dissects the recent Sep 27-30 AP-GfK poll and compares it to the Sep 5-10 AP-GfK poll taken after the RNC to show how slight adjustments to sampling mix has manufactured the recent &#8220;momentum&#8221; towards Obama. In the Sep 5-10 poll the sample margin was 30 Dem &#8211; 31 GOP but due to differences in sampling the margin was 40 Dem &#8211; 29 GOP in the Sep 27-30 poll; a shift of 9 points in the sample.  Strong vs. moderate GOP sampling shifted downward by 6 points and strong Dem vs strong GOP went from zero to up 8 points for democrats.
